Colt could set Passing TD record today

Currently has 58 for career which is 2 shy of Major for #1 UT all-time (60).

Not a stretch to predict that Colt will throw 3 TD's against Rice today. If he does he will set the new UT record, and just 3 games into his junior season.

This kid is pretty good.
 
That record will go down for sure, be it today or next week vs Arky. Go Colt!... Make us proud.

Colt is going to shatter this record no doubt, but just think if Major was a 4 year starter. That's why college career records don't mean much to me, so many are matter of circumstance.
 
If Vince wouldve stayed in for more than 3 quarters in 2005-06 he would have won the heisman for sure. We pulled our starters out by halftime almost every game.

Colt F'n McCoy. He's going to set the UT record pretty high.

Colt not only broke the record had just a great all around game. Every week he seems to get better. He threw a ball away early to avoid a sack and is just an example of something that he hadn't done well in the past.

His running is improved dramatically and he is a real threat to run now.

Gotta love his stat line:
19/23, 329 pass yards, 4 TD, 0 INT
8 rushes, 83 yards, 1 TD
total, 412 yards, 5 TD, zero turnovers
 
Colt also now has 70 total TD's in his career and is just 11 shy of Vince Young's total of 81.

Colt also now has 7562 total yards in his career and is 1605 yards away from Vince's total of 9167.
