Any Corsicana natives or residents on the board? I have a few friends visiting from NYC that are originally from Corsicana, and I thought I'd surprise them with something from the bakery, but not sure what to order. Is the fruitcake really that good? Would you miss the fruitcake if you moved away the way someone from San Antonio would miss a good plate of enchiladas? Or would you rather just have some of their specialty cookies or muffins or something?

Yes, the fruitcake IS really that good. I believe they open a new store right off I-45. The original store is off of business I-45 and 7th Street (I think).

A little tip. If you go to the original store, drive around to the side where there's a little shack. This is their security office AND their discount store where you can buy perfectly good fruitcake at a discount.
