I am sorry you have never met Barry. Not trying to stop your hate, but NO coach ever cared more about his players than Barry. It will, however, always bother me that he and Scott could find out the truth about a kid's life and we could not - Marcus Dupree being classic example #1.

I once again recommend Switzer’s memoir, Bootlegger’s Boy

it is the most revealing sports bio ever. I feel we got fleeced by the Duke and Dauphin from Huckleberry Finn but it is a great read.

As for Riley, he has an audience of Okies he has to keep fed. Cut him some slack

I met Ara, also Bobby Bowden. I'd take Ara over Bowden any day

What's more, I would NEVER put Bobby Bowden near, much less in the same category as those slimeballs.
