1 pkg coleslaw cabbage
1 med red onion - thinly sliced
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp celery seed
1 c. cider vinegar
Salt to taste
Thanks Eric, looking for more of a mayo based slaw. C'mon folks, Brookshires cut me an 8.5 lb shoulder from the biggest pig they had hanging in the locker. I just fired up the big green egg and will be throwing it on in an hour. Need some help by tomorrrow morning.
i made some this weekend with rice vinegar, salt, pepper, chopped cilantro, and a little good olive oil and balsamic. turned out great, though i would probably add red pepper if i made it again.
