Cold Fusion as another alternative fuel

So rumors of Cold Fusion have been around for quit a while, but I found this a little more compelling. Anyone know something that is not being reported here? I usually find this guy (EM Smith) quite compelling, but I am not sure if he missed the mark on this one.

The video was apparently an hour, so I decided not to invest.

I'll just say that I had a reason to look into what was called "cold fusion" in great detail 15 years ago, and had access to Dr. Bockris (at A&M) and many other high-ups in this "field." My opinion was that it was a bogus, crooked fake science.

Fairly recently, I did talk to a guy who was in the business of promoting a form of nuclear power that was based on slow-burn--he described it as a yule log effect. They were going around the world trying to get investors, and he swore that the science was solid on it. Is that what this is?

VYFan, I have not watched the videos either. I was basing it on EM Smith's (AKA: Chiefio) commentary. He is a very intelligent and well-read guy who is reasonably skeptical of such claims, so I found his contention that there was indeed something to see here interesting. I don't know much beyond that.
