Cohl Walla hitting .387 for the year and .452 in conference. Boy, have we needed that. Not bad for a freshman.

Yes, he is a gem. This BA shows he has a good eye at the plate. He doesn't get fooled too often and swing at balls out of the zone. That ability is lacking with some of our players. I'm hoping that changes with reps.

Not bad for a guy that i thought would have been playing collegiate football. Walla was easily Garret Gilberts go to guy during their senior seasons.

Cohl actually gave up football his senior year, so he could concentrate on baseball.

There was an article in todays Statesman. People commenting that he is such a quiet guy. His mood never changes.. Also said he was friends with Gilbert who got mad when he didn't recieve a text from Cohl saying he was moved into the lead off spot.
