Georgia Southern is Georgia's version of Texas State (without the hot chicks)...

Georgia didn't look #1 good.
 
The Big 12 has 5 teams in the top 13. That's insane.

Three more teams received votes. That leaves KSU, ISU, Baylor, and aggy as the only Big 12 teams not receiving votes.
 
To make up for UGA being demoted and Tenn dropping out, the SEC gets Bama from unranked to #17 and SCarolina in the poll for their brave effort against NCarSt.
