Number 1 D needs to play the second half like they have been playing the first half.
Cannot allow a team to come all the way back from 16 points down in the fourth quarter.
Also our special teams may be the weakest part of our team. Getting beat on fake punts has got to stop. Missing routine field goals has got to stop.

I'm not going to blame the defense when I thought they did pretty damn good considering;

1. They played against a very slippery dual threat QB who was top 10 in QBR, and a very good RB.
2. The special teams blew it by not seeing the fake punt coming and illegal man downfield should've been called.
3. Offensive PI should've been called on the long pass.
4. Mahammed had his head in the clouds on HB pass, should've been intercepted.
5. The defense was exhausted due to all the reasons already listed.

What happened with Mohammad on the HB pass? He has been a player for us but on that play he seemed to move away from the receiver, held his hands up like the play was over...Did he get his bell rang on the play before or what?

The only plausible explanation that I can come up with is that Mohammed never saw the ball from the moment it was launched. His action while it was in the air looked like he didn't know the ball was in the air and when it was caught, he looked bewildered. The ball was in the air for a long time, long enough for him to make a play on it or attempt to defend it. It was baffling because he played his assignment and didn't bite on the run and was in position until he just stopped.

Thats the most logical. He knew where his man was but seemed to not notice the ball. Weird..

That pass was so off target it actually helped the receiver. He made a hell of an adjustment to go get it, while Muhammad didn't, probably because he never saw the damned thing.

I'm still trying to figure out which was just pure-*** luckier: that play or the punt block that wasn't

So many things went ASU way for them to tie it at 24-24 and then for Texas to miss 2 FG’s. Tragic comedy.
