Much has been said about who should be the new coach. What can be said about the coaching staff impacted by the resignation? They too are in limbo and their fate is unclear as well. I have never seen a new coach in WBB retain all of the previous coaching staff/assistants. If I were to call out who I think should stay, IF they want to stay, that would be Coach Hughey and Edwina Brown,
Has anyone thought whether Coach Hughey would be an option? Up and coming check. Likeability factor? check. Texas ties? strike. long term potential. check. championship pedigree experience: strike.
Something tells me that Texas shouldn't pay top dollar again for an elite coach.
