Clubs in Vegas

So I'm heading to Vegas this weekend with about 7 guys. I've been to Vegas before, but never did the whole club scene. A few of the guys in the group are adamant about going out and having a good time. So a few questions for the regulars

Where are the good clubs?
What is the typical attire?
How much can we expect to spend?
Any tips or helpful comments (ie show up early, bring girls if possible, etc.)

Thanks in advance guys.

I liked Tryst at the Wynn. Easiest way to get in is have girls with you. You don't even have to stand in line if you have girls.
Tao is pretty popular as well but I've never been. LAX is nice but the dance floor gets too packed.

Don't mean to threadjack..but along the same lines..Me and a buddy will be out there on a monday and tuesday..are the lines shorter then? easier to get in? any hotspots on either day??

no flip flops, sandals, sports attire, hats etc. most clubs are strict on this. go with your 200 dolla jeans, nice shirt/shoes and you'll be fine.

There were some long threads on this topic over the summer you might want to search for. Tao, Trys, Pure and apparently the new Playboy club (I haven't been) are the big ones.

Bottle Service is highly reccomended. If it's crowded, you're looking at paying $30-$40 cover plus tipping a bouncer to get you in and then paying $12-$18 per/drink.

Bottle Service gets you in with no line or cover and having a table at a packed place is nice. With a large group, it's the only way to go and not that expensive split 7 ways.

Playboy Club sucks balls. It's all indoors and the drinks are freaking expensive. (I paid $48 + tip for 4 shots of Jager) You go up the elevator and stop on the 55th floor. (50-something) You get out and there is a dancing zone to the left and a mini casino to the right. Behind the bar they have lighted glosses of old Playboy covers. There are Playboy bunnies that work as cocktail waitresses and casino tables. I think the tables range from $10 min. - $500 min. depending on te time of day.

Cool to say that you've been there, but not worth the wait in line. Only reason I went was because it was a stop on the way up to a wedding reception.

Ghost bar is much better for the outdoor viewing.Inside the club isn't much to write home about. Tables, couches and strobe lights.

i went to the playboy bar during thanksgiving weekend. The concept is nice but the place was empty, on a sat night. Spoke to a bartender there and he said it's like that till new years eve, which is weird coz Tao and LAX had a huge line the same night.
