Clint Dempsey had a good weekend

This board couldn't be any more dead. Liverpool whips the living **** out of their opponent and the last post was BEFORE the game.

Dempsey scores early to give Fulham the lead in their Fulham Road Rivalry with Chelsea and then scores again in the 89th minute to tie it up 2-2. Every story about the Fulham/Chelsea game starts with these two words:

"Clint Dempsey"...

Chelsea's defending on both goals looked pretty atrocious, but a brace against #2 in the league is pretty damn good. Glad to see his success and more importantly Chelsea's loss of two points.

I am trying not to get too excited about the reds despite the beat down at st. james', newcastle was just god awful. i'll allow myself some wishful thinking if we can beat the chavs at Anfield on Feb. 1

This man speaks the truth. Seldom did I ever have to worry about a game between Man City and Liverpool since City was usually in the lower leagues. Only recently has it been an issue.

Your teams are on opposite extreme ends of the spectrum in terms of ownership. One won't allow any spending for anybody, the other wants to buy every star in the world.
