wow, that Clemson dude who got thrown out after showing up the ump, on a GOOD Call!!?? replay showed th ball right at the knees, and the stupid kid was claiming the ball was four inches low.

Baseball gods aren't gonna like that, Alabama to the CWS.

Imagine how that kid would feel if he had our ump from today?

that ump in Clemson was actually good.

I kinda felt like our ump today was going out of his way to give the TCU kid an extra 3 inches outside that Taylor wasn't getting. I honestly couldn't believe all of the burnt orange crowd sitting on thier hands right behind the ump.

Man, I would have been up and screaming about every close call.

Doens't matter though, we've got TCU right where we want them.

Did anybody ever find out if Garciaparra actually had a case for his trying to call Keyes out for the way he ran to first?

I never saw a replay, but I'm guessing Kevin was in the basepath.

I completely agree that the TCU pitcher got strikes called on pitches well outside and Taylor didn't get em. That Perke kid was good on Friday, but the umpire made him look even better with some of the strikes he got. Our guys don't know what to swing at.

Watching the Ark/ASU game now and this ump is no better. Hope we get a consistent strike zone on Sunday, but I haven't seen it yet in Austin.

While I agree that the calls have not always been consistent, Texas' offensive struggles ultimately come down to what RxLonghorn wrote: Our guys don't know what to swing at.

Saturday was a great example of what can happen when our 'Horns swing the bat aggressively yet prudently and with confidence.
