looking for a place in the parmer ln/35 area or braker/35 area. doesn't have to be jack brown cleaners, but something of the sort.

i need it cheap, but effective to have a large american flag cleaned. just got it from a friend, who didn't really treat it with the respect it should have, so its looks stained up on the white stripes. i can't say how big it is, but off the top of my head the flag is about 3ft by 5ft. maybe a lil bigger.

where's a good place around that area to get it washed effectively, but for a decent price? thanks

call austin flag and flagpole on south first. they can probably recommend a great place to clean it.

i just started going to Comet the past few weeks, and I have been really pleased with their work. Look in the back of the yellow pages and there are some coupons for them too.

la,

Make the extra drive and hit Home Steam east of campus. I used to work for a funeral home/cemetery, and we had all our large U.S. flags (4' x 8') cleaned there.

Comet is a chain--my parents use them up in Arlington. As far as Jack Brown goes, I wouldn't take an American Flag there unless you want to have to burn it, because every time I have taken something to JB, it has come back with black stains on it, like grease or oil or something. They suck.

P/C I've been going there for 4 years or so... you and I both know where that rash came from..

Need to look into Comet's the only reason I'm haning aroun Jack Brown is that my last two cleanings were a day or so late and I got them for free. I'll a take a day late for $40 bucks any day.

thanks for the comet's idea.
