I heard the other night that the city will cease operations by the end of the month.

The city apologizes but says "after Dog and Duck, Sugars and Able's closing, and Cedar Door moving locations, we cannot go on"

We could only be so lucky. Austin is one of the places where I feel that anarchy would actually be preferable to the current "leadership."

Torn,

the thread is a play on the various recent threads regarding certain businesses closing. The funny thing is none of them have closed, but many have quoted "reliable sources".

Scally seems to be the prognosticator of all of the rumors.

ok. Cedar Door DID close (it will reopen)

Dog and Duck had to stop serving liquor(never a good sign)

Hole in the Wall IS closing.

and it's only a matter of time before a great place like Sugars closes.

*******.

Why did Dog and Duck have to stop serving booze? That sucks.

The same guy own(s/ed) Waterloo, Dog and Duck, and the Crown and Anchor. It sounds like he's had a bad year.

If the Crown and Anchor closes I will cry for days and weeks.

Hell, I'll buy that place and run it my self. I'm sick of the computer business anyway.

I thought the Cedar Door was open but they had all that construction going on? Is it closed for good now until further notice?
