Circle C golf course

Anyone played there recently? What kind of shape is it in? I used to like that place, but it's been 6 years or so since I played, and I heard it's condition had deteriorated.

I played there last year and it was in fair to decent shape. It's probably worth weekday round with a golf512 deal, but I wouldn't pay rack rate on the weekend.

They have done some improvements that I have not been by to see: new clubhouse, parking lot, etc. They are in the process of completely redoing the irrigation system, so maybe the grass will stay greener and grow better in the future.

Note that the irrigation upgrade has been causing them to have 1 hole closed at a time. I don't know if they're done with that part yet, so if you were planning to play down there I'd give a call to see what the story was, before you ended up with a 17-hole round.

Sounds like they are in the process of making it better, however it's not ready to play a decent round

Played last week and thought it played fine, especially given the lack of rain. They did have one hole closed due to some vandals stealing a tractor and wrecking the hole. Pricewise, you can find plenty of specials..

Avery Ranch is a fantastic course. #7 is a ***** from hell.

I hate Circle C with a passion. I have shot my worst 2 rounds in the past 10 years there. Have no clue why...

Damn shame in the mid to late 90's that was a fantastic golf course.
