'Chuck' - 4/27

Spoilers if you haven't seen it! Plus, this is obviously assuming it gets picked up for a 3rd year (which seems more and more likely given the "Subway" hype... my guess is that it switches time slots to go up against something that is uber-high in the ratings).

OK, so Chuck can go all Matrix-y now and upload skills from the new Intersect in his head. What's to stop him from just telling the government to peace out and leave him alone? If he could beat the crap out of anyone, and basically learn any skill through his computer brain, what's to stop him from taking over the world?

My guess is that it's his love for Sarah and his family, but seriously? The show will definitely get canceled if Chuck's persona doesn't evolve with this new power. If he stays with the "aw, shucks" mentality and has cover jobs and a cover life, then it's basically just repeating the 2nd season even though he has this badass ability to do whatever he wants now.

I'm wondering how they're going to sustain the show next year (if it gets picked up) - they're clearly taking it in a completely new direction with Chuck now being able to handle himself and the Buy-More cover gone. It'll be interesting to see where they go with it - but I like that they're willing to shake the show up now and move it to a new level.

Chuck is a bubble show, which sucks because this season has been great.

If it gets picked up, I imagine that we will get a couple of episodes of Chuck being Neo before he gets bumped back down somehow. The actor is not so great with the action, so I don't think they would attempt to sustain that. I figure they will either find a way to downgrade his power (because it will kill him if they don't!!!!... I suspect)... or they will play it like Greatest American Hero, that without Bryce or the now toast physical intersect the results are spotty. I hope the latter, personally.

It would seriously bite if Chuck wasn't picked up. They had a great season.

Chuck is one of my top 3 favorite shows on right now. would be a shame if it's not picked up

I'm sure Chuck is as good as dead. Anything that the family enjoys watching together inevitably gets cancelled. I am really gonna miss this show.

If Chuck gets canceled, ABC will be all over it as it was with FNL and Scrubs. This show has been a favorite of mine since it has debuted.

"Chuck Me!!" Every episode featuring Jeffster is greatness. The only thing that was better was John Casey''s reaction after Chuck mudholed the 5 agents.

This show could be setting up for a fun run for a few seasons. I definitely hope that's the case, if not i'll have to find another way to get my dose of Sarah Walker!!

i've been a fan of the show since day one. this was a really good season with a great finale. hope to see chuck and sarah walker back in the fall
