Christmas Tree Farms near Austin

I have been to the one that cooks smores on the porch and it was pretty cool. Any others I should consider?

There is one over near Elgin and one down between Bastrop and Smithville. Elgin might be the way since you could grab some good Q while you're at it.

I think you're talking about Loma Alta Christmas Tree Farm. I've never been, but I have passed the sign while driving a few times.

We always go to the Elgin Christmas Tree Farm.

We would go to Loma Alta when I was a kid. Always got a good tree and had fun.
