Chris Simms may join Titans

It surprised me that Simms didn't wind up in Dallas...one more Horn on the Titans, and they may make an offer to Greg Davis to take over as OC.

What if Chris Simms has a breakout in Tennessee? How Ironic would that be? The QB that couldnt lead Texas to the promise land takes over the one that did's job.

The season that Simms joins the Titans will be the season VY leaves the Titans.. if he hasn't left before then. If the Titans are going to get Simms, they'll be getting him NOT to just use him until VY is back from injury, or they'd just stick w/ Collins. If they go for him, that means they're looking at making replacements, or already planning a loss. Collins is a good QB as is. Why jump on a free agent if you have VY and a good replacement?

They know something we don't if they're going for Simms..
 
I wouldn't mind seeing Chris Simms play again...for another team. Kerry Collins will do an adequate job, won't make mistakes and will manage the game while VY is out. I wouldn't mind seeing El Ced get picked up by the Titans though.
 
Tenn has to get another QB with Vince out. They do not have another one
on the roster, or so I read in the paper.
 
They do have another QB.. His name is Ingle Martin.

And yeah.. I dont think your allowed to be named Ingle and be a starting QB in the Nation Football League.

Heard report that Simms has indeed joined the Titans. Could become even more interesting there for UT fans. I wish Simms the best in Tennessee.
 
Please, no. I think Chris Simms can still be a legit NFL starter, and if Collins goes down and Chris starts playing for the Titans, it'll probably kill his chances to launch a career anywhere else.
