espn put up a youtube interview with chris barnett two days ago where he talks about his commitment to ou.
chris gives the interviewer a list of schools he intends to visit before he commits for real: miami, florida state, florida, alabama, and maybe usc. my gosh, why isn't he shown as soft to the sooners with that schedule of visits ahead of him?
another thing on barnett. espn posted a report by gerry hamilton on the dallas ua combine and he says in his blurb about chris: 'The 6-4, 244-pound Barnett ran a 4.97 40-yard dash and leaped 30 inches.'
i came across the youtube interview because of reading that line from gerry's report. i was hoping to find footage of him that would belie that 4.97 as being really definitive.
these 40 times are often way off. we see, for example, that mj mcfarland is listed on rivals as having a 'verified' 5.37 40 time which would suggest that he plods like a not very fast offensive lineman. the youtube we saw of him certainly doesn't look like a plodder.
one more thing from gerry's report. he says anthony wallace is 6-0 not the 6-2 we see on rivals.
anyway, thought you would find this stuff interesting.
