Chimichurri

Had a flank steak marinated in chipotle sauce of some sort, then grilled and served with chimichurri sauce. Normally my steaks have only salt, garlic powder, and pepper, but this was good. Is is Argentine?

I don't have any cookbook with chimichurri (not that I know of, anyway) so is there a good recipe for this apparently pretty simple concoction?

I believe it is Argentine. My ex girlfriend used to make it. I believe it is oil, salt, parlsey?, and cilantro?. Not sure. Good stuff though.

Check the search engine on Foodtv.com or epicurious.com, I am sure that is where she found it.

theres a restaraunt in sa, cafe paladar, that serves a mean chimichurri. they give it to you free with chips, instead of salsa.
