chilton books

i just bought a 2003 f-150 and would like to get to know it a little bit better. was thinking of picking up one of those chilton books for ford trucks that includes 2003. anyone use one before and have an opinion on those, or possibly a better way to go? i plan on keeping it for as long as possible and doing some maintenance myself.

can't think of the name of Chilton's competitor, but I like their stuff much better than Chilton's. They cost about the same.

I always liked Chilton's, but they're basically the same thing. I have a Haynes now for my Chevy pickup and it suits me fine.
