chicken marinade/brine?

A few buddy's and I have been started entering bbq cookoffs lately. Our ribs are down pat and our brisket I believe is getting there. Our trouble has been our chicken. I was wondering if anyone had a good seasoning and/or marinade or brine? Once again hornfans thanks in advance.

look up alton brown's turkey brine recipe, which is water, salt, and brown sugar. Add a LOT of Zatarain's Liquid Crab Boil to that.
