Where can I get a a cheap, but excellent, chicken fried steak in town?

Cherry Creek Catfish Parlor, across the street from Crockett HS. That is probably the best chicken fried steak I've ever had at a restaurant.

Hyde Park Cafe might not fit everyone's definition of "cheap", but it hands-down fits any conceivable definition of "excellent".

Cheddars CFS is $6+, huge and the sides are great. The chicken tenders cost a little more but they pile a small hill of them on your plate that I'm not sure anyone has ever polished off in one sitting.
