Ray's gravy is indeed funky, but there's something I like about it every now and then.
I really want to try the CFS at Springhill Cafe out on 71 at 620, as well as R.O.'s Outpost a little farther west. The first time I went to Springhill was on a Lenten Friday, so I had the catfish (which was pretty good). And I've only had pie at R.O.'s, but that kicked serious ***.
Hoovers = Cafe 290: Shitloads of good food. But if you have the time, do Cafe 290, I like the atmosphere better and I think the deserts are freakin' out of this world.
Springhill is awesome. You need to hit their buffett when it's all you can eat CFS and catfish. Sometimes it's all you can eat enchiladas and catfish. Last time I had a CFS at The Spoke, it was great.
I just went to Sprinhill based on this thread and it was incredible. Too bad I am starting my diet up tomorrow and won't be able to go back for a little while.
