I roasted a chicken last weekend, it was picked up at Whole Foods a month ago and put in the freezer. This bird was easy to handle, not much fat, and free range.

I went to Randalls and picked up a full bird from one of the major poultry providers. This bird is HUGE. Full of fat and almost too big for my roaster.

Amazing the difference, like comparing a Pirates Barry Bonds and the SF Giants Barry Bonds.

This fowl was shot full of something unnatural.

Do you consciously choose organically grown/raised food when shopping.

Based on the oddness of this bird I think I might start.
