I know this has probably been covered many times prior, so I'll ask some specific questions while listening for any other advice.
Girlfriend and I will be driving up from Cincinnati for 3 or 4 days the last week of March. Neither of us have ever been. She'd like to see some archictecture.
So..
- Hotels? There's a thread a couple of pages back and the Drake looked nice. Downtown would be preferable, overlooking the lake would be cool. $200/night?
- Parking. As I said we're driving up. Other posts have said parking downtown at the hotel would be expensive. I have no problems taking rail/cabs anywhere, if it winds up being cheaper but any suggestions on where to park outside downtown?
- Attractions/Archictecture/Bars/Restraunts?
Thanks
