I'm sure the victim was probably out of his mind on who knows what, but you can't just shoot someone like an animal unless there is a real safety issue. That city is going to explode.

What's the context here? Had the guy just committed a crime, or done something to be considered a threat to the cops? Was he armed? I didn't watch the attorney video so maybe it was explained there.

From what was being reported on CNN, the police took a head shot to a black man who was already on the ground. From what I saw, he was walking, and an object of some type was kicked away from him post-shot. I assume it was a weapon of some type.

I can't/won't make any judgments until I hear more facts. It doesn't look good at all, but it also doesn't look as bad as what I thought, based on the CNN report.
I was disappointed by a CNN guest commentator, who was give 3-4 chances to tell the viewing audience that violence, in reaction to violence, is not the answer. Instead, he just talked about it being a time to force the US to come up with answers regarding police killing black men.

In other thoughts, I heard (CNN) that first degree murder had been charged. I wonder if that is the charge to 1) appease BLM, and 2) set a high bar that may lead to acquittal.
Sad all around, and all these cases are different. This was no Michael Brown.

Not sure how this cop has any defense, but give him his day in court. Also, Rahm and his goons (all liberal dems by the way) need to go in front of a grand jury for the cover up.

Well, I guess it took awhile to organize or maybe they were just waiting for the holiday spirit, but the crowds in Chicago are back today and calling for Rohm Emmanuel to step down.
