Chernobyl 25 Years Later

25 years ago I was not particularly compassionate about the Russian disaster. Russia was our enemy. But, now, when you see pictures like these, you realize it didn't hurt Communists, it hurt real (mostly dirt poor) people.

The Soviet Union was our enemy. I work with a lot of Russians and enjoy those relationships quite a bit. It seems to get better once you leave Moscow. They're different to be sure but Americans could learn a lot from Russians.

of all the people i have met around the world, i have always thought that the russians are most like americans. an enjoyable bunch to be around....except their food sucks.

i think so, i hate herring and they eat a lot of it.
