cheap rent

I'm on Oltorf (between Congress and Lamar) and pay 525 with free cable. Most of the other units are $495 and have a study as well as a bedroom. Most expesnive light bill was Aug at 60 bucks. last month's was 40, and this month's should be about 15-20 bucks becasue I haven't turned on the A/C.
 
Fyi, Pato's burned. Sucks, eh? Anyways, that area is referred to as "The Woods" (Maplewood, Cherrywood) and is east of Fiesta on 38 1/2 street. Go to the stop sign and turn left. Tons of stuff over there. Good luck.
 
Yeah, a few months ago. I am not sure if they are going to rebuild or what. I live only a few blocks away yet have not been by it for awhile. I will drive by and get back to you on what I see. That place ruled. Greatness.

When I closed on my house, that is where I went to eat and drink after an exhausting day. After we moved my stuff in, yup, Pato's. I hope they bring it back and leave it just the same. You cannot improve on that place.
 
I have half a lease I need someon to sign off on for a 2 bedroom 2 bath at the Warwick apartments off of 29th and Guadalupe. The lease is $550 per and runs through the summer.

I did a drive by of the Pato's site and yes, it is gone, gone, gone. No frame, nothing. Just land. That sucks they did not have the cash to rebuild it. A few years ago and Austin would have had a "Rebuild Pato's" block party and people would have chipped in to help out w/ the building and stuff. Oh well, I still have the Tamale House on Airport.
 
Call a realtor like Habitat Hunters. I used to work there and I knew about all the cheap central places.
