Would somone let me know a good place to purchase cheap golf balls?

New ones, go to Academy. Usually cheap, decent selection. Target's OK, too.

Used ones, take your chances on ebay or at knetgolf.com

Go to Golfsmith and get the cheap logo overruns. You'll get good balls for cheap.

when you say "cheap", are you referring to inexpensive balls or lower quality balls, or a combination of the two?

You can get great balls at a cheap price on EBAY. You can get inexpensive sucky balls at Golfsmith or Kmart type places.

You can buy 48 balls at Wal-Mart for $19 by Golf Hunter or something. Comes in a mesh bag.

You can go to a driving range and pour a bucket of balls in your bag for less than $10.

You can get the overruns. like somebody was talking about above.

If you're just starting out, and know you're gonna tear through a bunch (or just wanna hit a bunch off of your house/boat into the forest/water), you should consider getting an 'onion bag' (also at GS) - 100 balls for $20, or so.
