Cheap Flowers in Austin

Anyone know of a cheap place to buy flowers or rose petals in Austin besides cutting down the neighbors rose bush?

if you pay cash you can get a dozen roses for $10 or $12 at freytag's on anderson. i live near there so i stop and get 2 or 3 dozen at a time for the wife. they arrange them nicely and they bloom great and stay nice for a good while.

kind of the opposite of the place on 38th & jefferson that offers the same deal yet only 1/3 of them ever open and they all die within 4 days.

central market always has great flowers, but i do not consider them to be cheap. they defintely will have petals though.
