Chassidy Peoples invited to USA U19 Team Trials

Way to go Chassidy and Peoples.I have watched Chassidy play and she will put in 100% for this team like she did for Texas.Have not seen Peoples play but sure she will do her best to.

USA U19 press releaseInvitees from the Big 12: Aaryn Ellenberg (Oklahoma / Las Vegas, Nev.); Chassidy Fussell (Texas / Troy, Tenn.); Karla Gilbert (Texas A&M / College Station, Texas); Cassie Peoples (Cy-Fair H.S. / Houston, Texas); Odyssey Sims (Baylor / Irving, Texas).

Texas is the only Big 12 school with two players invited.

Reading that invitation list is like reading the recruiting top ten list for the past two years.

Chas and Cassie will be leaving either tomorrow or Saturday (I'm assuming) for the 3 day U19 trials that begin on the 22 and run through the 25.

Hope they get a chance to talk to Jamie Carey and Kenya Larkin-Landers while there.

I forgot about Jamie being in CO these days. Best of luck to Chassidy and Cassie; this should be a great experience for them!

Neither Chas nor Cassie made the U19 team finalists roster.

But that is one loaded team. I look for the USA to bring home the gold.

Should have been a great experience for Chas & Cassie.

Especially for Cassie, it should help her understand the speed of the college game.
