Headed there for a bachelor party in May. What are some must sees/eats, etc.? Heard it's a great town.

I lived there for during the summer of 2000. Very cool town.

If you're into golf, you need to look into Kiawah Island. It's located 30mins outside downtown charleston. It has fantastic golf.

The downtown area has a good bar scene. Not as big as 4th or 6th street, but still a fun time.

If you guys are staying downtown, then you can just walk around and pick from a good selection of good restaurants. Hyman's was really good. Don't remember any others.

Have a good time.

i was stationed in charleston for 2 years. hominy grill for breakfast would be choice. all the bars in charleston are pretty nice. looking for tail, go to city bar. we frequented a bar called market street saloon but it was because the bartenders were good friends. Hyman's is great seafood. The sushi in Charleston is awesome. Go to Tsunami's, great nightlife, great atmosphere and hot women everywhere. Isle of Palms is about 15 minutes. Cab ride for 4 is about 20 bucks. The beach at this time of the year is great. Windjammer at Isle of Palms is really good. They don't allow you to drink on the beach at the Isle o Palms though. Go to Folly Beach, it's a lot more wild and you can drink on the beach. That's where everyone tries to go out to and surf.
