Sucks for him, maybe he can make it on a practice squad somewhere. Don't anybody suggest the Titans...they need way more help then what a rookie free-agent can provide...

I went to the Chargers practice a couple of weeks ago and Billy was in street clothes other than his jersey. I never did find out what kind of injury he had.

Following the 05 season I was sure Billy was going to be a sure-fire NFL draft pick. It just amazes me how he went from being Vince Young's go-to guy and leading the nation in ypc, to having a handful of catches his senior year and then getting cut off an NFL roster after being signed as an undrafted free agent.

he was a great college wr, but you're delusional if you thought he had the talent to play at the next level.

He had one good year in college and it was as a sophomore, I'm actually surprised he was on the team for a bit in the first place.

Billy was my favorite player during the '05 season. I was so excited for the next year to see him step into the star role.

It all went downhill when he fumbled against Ohio State.

Billy Pittman had a great 2005 season, but he just doesn't have the tools to be an NFL WR.

Anyone who thought Welker couldn't play in the NFL never watched our games against Tech. That ****** tore us to pieces. Welker always was a bad *** and I was truly surprised he didn't get drafted.
