Interesting there is a 3 year gap with Michigan. Wonder what caused the change?
Dug this up but I couldn't seem to save the article to post.
"Negotiations surrounding Texas and Oklahoma’s early exit from the SEC were complicated, both because of the money and multiple media partners involved. Flipping the locations of these games changes what would have been a Big 12 game in 2024 to what will now be a Big Ten game."

most important change to our future schedule ... 01/20/25
:coolnana::coolnana::coolnana:

"The first College Football Playoff National Championship Game with the expanded field is expected to be played on Jan. 20, 2025."

Meanwhile, AppSt wants to drop aggy...into the loss column again.
I hear Lamar is looking for a body bag game...need an easy win against anyone willing to pay $1,000,000+ for some team willing to go to kolug stashun & go home with a W & a bag full of $.

1sa,

Who are you kidding. Lamar's program is so broke that they would likely go to Brazos County for $100,000 and a hundred dozen wings from Mark Dennard for a post slaughter meal.

Not even Jimbo could screw up that matchup.

12 team playoff is too restrictive. If it was 64 teams it would make for a couple of months and make it like figure 8 car race—-a real destruction derby. Try to imagine us making it to the 7th game but with Bijan and Roschon and Ewers and Worthy on the sidelines recovering from surgeries and concussions

even the Ags might be competitive or you might have a final between Kansas and the Mighty Rice Owls

This seriously has an opportunity to screw over the season ticket holders. The OU game is now $200 per ticket. These games won’t be cheap. I’m guessing some persons will travel for Christmas oh say about the 20th. Some travel for Christmas through New Years. You are paying more now for regular season with the prospect of greatly increasing your cost for the “important” games. I suppose you could sell them and make some money, but what kind of deal is that. The biggest fans want to be there for the biggest moments. But keep pushing and pushing I suppose.

The bowls won’t be the traditional bowls so why even masquerade them as such. Home games don’t do a damn thing about proving who is better. Rematches kinda suck. See Bama versus LSU. After 12 games, a team with 3 losses should be done. Same for two losses when those are to other participants in the playoff.

It’ll never be as great as Texas-USC. That opportunity has been killed.
