Change of Seating Request Granted

I'm excited. I had my request granted. I now have a question about where they are. I'm now in 105 seats 37-40. What yard line are these? TIA.
 
Holden, my seat #'s 26-27 have me on the 47-48 yard lines. Your 4 should be between the 35 and 40, to the north of the 50 yard line.
 
From this DKR seating chart, it looks like section 105 extends between the 40 yard lines. The entrance ramps are in the middle of the sections and IIRC, the higher numbered seats are on the north side of the section, so I'm guessing those seats would be closer to the 40 yd line on the north side of the field.
 
Not on the aisle, but you'll be approximately the middle of your row. The good news will be less foot traffic to let in/out of your row.
 
So I'm on the north side of the 50, close to the 40? I ask bc I moved from 106 11-14 and i was on the 35 there.
 
We sit in the west upper deck on the N 40 yd-line and our seats are 37 & 38. They are the last ones in the section and are dead-nuts in the middle of the row. Not much foot traffic at all!

I finally got my seat request after 5+ years of asking. A scalper owned the two aisle seats next to me and I finally took 'em over!

I wish my seat change requests would get granted. I have five seats with two across the aisle and up one row and ask every year to put them together. The people next to me didn't renew a couple of years back, but still no luck.
 
Last year the new seat assignments were posted to Donornet on the 1st week of August. Did anybody else roll the dice and request new seats this year?
 
How do you know your seating change request was granted? I just checked my Donor Net account and it's still showing last season's info.
 
Yeah, mine is too. I'm thinking it should change any day now. Last year they updated the change on the 1st Tuesday of August. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
 
I have had the same seats since the 90's and have requested MINOR change every year. No luck for well over a decade and I call the Longhorn Foundation every year. I have increased my donation and asked for change. WTF does it take!
 
Wow. Revived an old thread. I just checked and my seats still have the 2010 info.

As for what it takes; IDK??? I did not up my LF donation last year and it was granted. I have requested to improve every year and last year was the first time it was granted. Hoping for two in a row - greedy, I know.

Holden, I was luckily granted last year as well. I'm feeling greedy as well.

I woke up this morning and scrambled to check seat assignments and mine are still 2010. It is killing me not knowing.
 
I was lucky as hell with my seats. I requested very specific seat locations when I originally requested new chair backs back when they first came out. I ended up on the front row with aisle seats. I wouldn't trade my location for anything.

Ditto for me Texas_Fight. What section are you in? I love my seats. More importantly, my wife loves our seats.

I'm assuming whomever was next to me renewed their seats because my change request
to take over their 2 seats this year was denied. I got the refund on my credit card in July.
 
Was hoping to see better seats this morning, but still my 2010 seats are posted on Donornet. Come on upgrade!!!!
 
I think they are going to post the 2011 seat assignments today!!! They have changed the headings to read 2011. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

2011 season tickets locations are on Donornet now.
Only disappointment is my son doubledhis contribution and requested 2 additional seats (requested they be near his current 2 seats) but Donornet only shows his same 2 seats as last year. He is receipted for double his normal contribution so I guess he can request the extra money be refunded.
 
Guess all are not updated but mine, my son's and my daughter's are now 2011. Today was the first time though. I have been checking a couple times a day.

Look under the 2011 heading and next to the ticket specifics and parking info: does it say 2011 or 2010?

My heading reads 2011, but the ticket and parking info says 2010. The thinking is that they just changed the headings and have not updated the actual ticket info. Who knows?
