Change in the Rotation??

I hope that I am not jumping the gun on this....but the Texas and TCU’s websites have a preview for the game tonight and Cole Green is listed as the starter for Texas. Does that mean there is going to be a change in the rotation, or will Cole just be getting some work in since his stint on Sunday was so short.

Has anyone heard anything on this….and if true who will the new Sunday starter be…Jungmann or Dicharry?

Cole only threw 41 pitches on Sunday, I'm sure they just want to get him some confidence back ... he got shelled, and couldn't find the zone.

I expect 2-3 innings from Green, then on to Jungmann and Dicharry.

I think that a lot of it has to do with the approach that Augie and Skip take tonight

I mean if I were guessing I would say that they are going to throw Cole a couple of innings to get some work and build some confidence. And go with pitcher by committee for the rest of the game like the Oral Roberts game.

But a part of me does think that if they are going to make a change in the rotation then pitching Cole serves two purposes…1. To have a quality starter go up against a very good TCU team…2.to rest one of the other starters (likely Jungmann or Dicharry) for the anticipation of starting one of those guys this weekend in Lincoln.

I guess we will find out tonight…I am sure Augie will address it in the pregame interview.

Also remember that the series in Lincoln is Thursday/Friday/Saturday instead of our usual. Regardless of TCU's record or how good they are, I'm FAR more interested in trying to get a sweep in Lincoln.

Giving each pitcher a few innings tonight is excellent. They need to get some quality innings in.

Excellent point about the Nebraska series Orangeblood.

Wood threw 70 pitches Sunday and Jungman threw 69 Saturday, so they may not be available.
