some talk in the liverpool thread, but i'll start a new one...

Barca vs Bayern
-at first glance, you have to brush off Bayern, but there's a reason they play the game. I think this will easily be the most entertaining of the round of 8, and even though i'm a huge Chelsea fan, this game is the one ESPN should show, but we all know they won't.

Liverpool vs Chelsea

are you freaking kidding me?? again? a rematch would have maybe been okay had it been in the final, but this is just so damn boring in Champions League.

ManU vs Porto
-wow, great draw for Arsenal and ManU, these two game show why maybe they SHOULDN'T leave it all to luck. Guarantees 3 english teams in the semifinals.

Who I want to see win their matchups:1) B vs B: Pick

-If Donovan were playing for Bayer, then obviously the Krauts. But he's not, so I'd just like to some exciting footie.


2) L vs C: Liverpool

Don't like Chelsea and as long as Liverpool is American owned (especially by a guy who has his fingers in the UT & St. Mark's pies), then Go Scousers.


3) MU vs P: Manchester United

Once again, Buy American. Also, our government bailout (AIG) is paying for this team. Plus I know some girls who are fanatics. (And one is currenly working for AFA and could get me tickts.)


4) A vs. V: Arsenal

I'm a huge Bendter fan.

Actually, they play exciting footie and Jozy isn't playing for Villareal at the moment. If he were on the squad, then it would be a no-brainer for the Mexicans. Plus I like their yellow kits. Kind of like the Columbus Crew's and I'm a fan of the Crew.

Barca v. Bayern: Damnit. My favorite Spanish team v. my favorite Kraut team. I will be happy and sad no matter what. I think Barca has the better chance to win it all out of the two, however.

Liverpool v. Daughter Clinton: I will never walk alone. My second favorite, by a hair, Prem team will prevail.

ManUre v. Porto: Porto, duh! ManU could play the detainees in Guantanamo and I would root for the detainees.

Arsenal v. Villareal: Arriba, vamos.
