PAC 14 or Big 12?

4 conference champions get a 1st round bye
while 8 st large teams play first round games.

I assime the format means Notre Dame always play a first round. That’s a real blow.

I also assume the 4 conferences are SEC, Big 10. ACC and either PAC 12 or Big12.

that would clear up the bracket. Makes more sense. Tks for clearing up, but I wish they notre dame would have been "left out of 1st rnd bye".

Which conferences get shafted? SEC & BigTen. Giving automatic bye to PAC and/or Big XII screws the two REAL conferences out of another spot for one of their teams.

You could have 3-4 teams from the two big conference. Each technically
