Center Position

What about offensive line center position?. I think we only have two listed in the 2009 roster in Chris Hall (Sr.) and David Snow (Soph.).

Snow's gonna start most of the next couple of years, but we've got one from the 09 class, and one committed, who can slide over to center quite nicely.

I believe Luke Poelmann is a C. Snow might end up at G. Greg Smith was moved to TE from C this summer.

Smith covered for the missing Buck. He was recruited as a tight end . Luke was a three year starter as a tackle. Where did you hear center? Snow will be a guard, maybe , this year, if he can't take Chris's job this year., which he might. David is the center of the future at this point.

I think Snow very well could take over the OC position talent wise. However I am not sure they will want to change the OC that Colt has been taking snaps from for over a year.

Snow is too talented then to leave on the bench or just bringing in for mop up duty. So they will give him playing time chance at OG. Injuries will determine much though as far as who plays where. I like the fact that we have 2 guys that the center position who can play OG if needed.

Snow then can get 2 years to start at OC in 2010 and 2011.

I agree that putting on 40 lbs may take a while, but at 6'7" isn't he a little tall for the QB to throw over in the middle of the line? And does anyone know if he has the smarts that the center must have?

It is strange that he was listed at 260 as a recruit, but is now listed as an inch taller, but a few pounds lighter. Give that boy a cheeseburger or something!
