Oh, Mus, there's no comparison. The government is behind censorship in China and directs everything. But in the US, private companies can choose to accept and not accept what they allow.
Yeah, right. If you believe these private monopolies aren't heavily influenced by:
a) Threat of government regulation
b) Government infiltration
then you are deluding yourself.
The differences between China and the US in terms of censorship and government control of the narrative is just a matter of degree. The Chinese government implements censorship directly via brute force whereas the US Intel Agencies accomplish the same thing through proxy. Where does it end? I think it only gets worse.
