Cell phone repair in Austin???

i guess i have dropped my phone too many times. i have a sprint camera phone and it is only about a year old and in decent shape. but lately it has been powering off randomly. likely some issue with the contact/wires. it powers back on but it can be a pain.

i took it to AusTex PCS Wireless today and they said that they could not fix it. but they also told me basically that they spent like 2 min on it. no surprise, they are busy like anything. i might take it to the other AusTex PCS Wireless store off william cannon to see if they are not as busy.

anyone else know anyone who fixes phones? i really think it is something that will be fixed easily. i really don't want to drop another $200 on a phone plus sprint is stalling on giving me a deal. plus i don't want to reprogram my address book.

stopped by there during lunch. the guy was friendly and told me that my phone should still be covered by sprint's 1 year warranty. of course they didn't tell me this on the phone. i went to the sprint store tonight and they are ordering me the same phone. it was under warranty. i should be happy that austex pcs wireless could not fix it! i would be out $50 and have the same phone.

this sucks. sprint is giving me another phone but it isn't getting in until monday. i have been cell phone-less since really tuesday.
