i figure for the most part all the carriers suck in their respective ways.

i am with cingular now and dont mind staying, but stating that, i am going to get my new service based on the best phone i can find.

i am looking for:
- flip phone
- small and light
- front/outside display
- conversation quality

those are basically my only criteria, i could care less about internet access, cameras, and gay rings

please give me some feedback on any phones you think are good quality and meet my criteria

i originally went with sprint because i felt they had the best flip phones as far as your criteria.... the two sprint phones i've had have been sanyos and have worked very well. i think they make phones for other providers as well.

I have an samsung s307 with cingular. Very small and lightweight with exterior screen. No camera and all that ********. Great phone.

I have an LG with ATT. It's a piece of ****.

I would give my left nut to have my Motorola back, but nextel is too expensive (was my company phone).

after researching via the net, word of mouth, and going to the stores and doing a hands on check, i have found the samsung s307 to be the best phone out there for my criteria.

thanx benson32 for the advice.

what is gay is that if you go to cingular online, you get different phones depending what zip code you get. i couldnt find that phone until i searched a different city/state combo.

phone is 3.0 x 1.5 x 0.9, 2.75 oz, with an exterior display. you can barely feel it in your pocket. hopefully the sound quality is as good for me as the size is.
