I would bet she was released and will be able to play this year due to the coaching change at Wake Forest.

What is the max scholarship limit? I thought it was 15. With the addition of Celina that would put us at 16.

I saw this post yesterday morning before I left for work; but, the site has been down since then. Glad it's back up again. Good news on the addition, and I would assume due to coaching change at Wake Forest that Rodrigo was released from her LOI.

The research I did yesterday yielded the following information:

- Rodrigo committed to UNC-Charlotte and Coach Aston very early in the process

- After Coach Aston left for North Texas, she stayed commmitted to UNCC for a while, then re-opened her recruitment; she eventually committed and signed with Wake Forest

Obviously, this addition would put us over the scholarship limit; so, someone must not be returning -- neither Ronisha Major nor Tiffany Moore were in that recent team outing photo, I believe. That would be unfortunate as I think both have great potential, especially on the offensive end.

Or, since we're adding a point guard, perhaps Shanice or Cassie are moving on and Rodrigo is a replacement.
