Cedar Planked Salmon

I've had pretty good luck with Bobby Flay's recipe from foodnetwork.com. IIRC, it was pretty simple. Salt and pepper, thin coat of dijon mustard, crumble brown sugar on top. Make sure you soak the plank for at least 30 minutes. I think I mixed a little honey in with the dijon last time.

Thank you. I'll give that a try, sounds good. Think I'll pair that with some grilled asparagus toped with lemon.

2 Tbsp Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Honey
1/4 cup white wine
2 cloves crushed garlic
1 lemon
salt & pepper to taste

Soak plank for 30 minutes. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and marinade salmon for 30 minutes. Remove plank and place salmon, skin side down on plank. Place plank in hot grill and cover with grill lid. Let cook 8 to 10 minutes, then baste salmon with remaining marinade. Replace lid and cook salmon for additional 10 to 12 minutes. Remove, drizzle lemon juice onto salmon, and serve.

Enjoy!
