everything burns fine, and 20% of the time, it will actually work right. however, i appear to get errors in the finalizing or lead-out or whatever it is you kids call the end phase of the burning these days. wtf?

just get a new one for $20 and problem solved.


if you dont wanna do that, go to the manufacturer's site and download the latest firmware.

make sure you have enough free disk space on your hard drive. If your space is getting low the burner will choke since it uses your hard drive to swap data back and forth when burning.

If you are using Roxio, stop immediately and get Nero.

Try burning at slower speeds. If that doesn't help, you probably need a new drive.
