CCG on South Mall?

Did they show the 2006 Rose Bowl on a giant screen on the South Mall? I know they used to show away games there back in the day (early 2000's) I just think that would probably be the 2nd best atmosphere since I can go to the actual game. Any insider information would be appreciated.
