CBS Feed SUCKS!

Does the CBC feed suck or is it my Directv? Picture gets stuck, went black for almost a minute at the end of the Mizzou game. I love that Mizzou team by the way -even though they lost. Anyone else having same problems with CBS? Every game I have watched, which is all of them, I have had problems.

Well I frankly quit watching once UT was eliminated, but when I was watching (on Time Warner Cable) the HD channel had a lot of strange blanking, where the picture would go black for just a split second. It was like a "blink". I don't know if it was caused by a problem with the national feed, the local station, Time Warner, or what.

Here's what grates on me by the time we get to this weekend's regionals...

- Bryan grates on me just hearing him from the studio
- the game crews are boring... the voices make me think I'm watching the same game over and over for the past 15 years that's never going away and where the team I favored is not, has not, will not win -- the sound of the call of the game makes it seem like it's the same game.. over and over.
- I close my eyes and think it may be a US Open Tennis match instead of a basketball game
- the games just have no pizzaz, no ump, nothing
- the hype as a game draws to a close is the same, over and over and over.. same sound, same punch, same atmosphere....

I want CBS to get the hell away from this sport, and NBC to get the hell away from the Olympics... I'm tired of sports being dominated and colored by a never-changing personality, sound, quality, atmosphere....

WOW..... Mich-State fans should be sorely pissed over this... ruined the celebration of closing it out with a beat down that put the Big East in their place.

Somebody at CBS needs to skip their bonus, and/or get demoted.

I tried regular CBS (non-HD) and did not help.

I don't have HD, but the regular standard def broadcast had audio sync problems with the video, the sound being about 0.3 seconds preceding the dunk clang on the rim for example. This sync issue occurred on almost every game I watch as far as I can remember.

I don't think anyone here will agree, but Billy Packer is what makes the tournament exciting. I changed my mind on Kellogg and do find him knowledgable and somewhat entertaining but there is the tradition of Packer which cannot be matched. He does make the game exciting, love him or hate him, in the mold of Howard Cosell, Brent and a precious few others.
