Cat and Megan

Cat had another mysteriously bad inning tonight, giving up 5 runs, including a grand slam. However, apart from that inning, she was on her game, pitching six shut-out innings, with 13 strike outs. The Pride won 11-5, and, get this, Megan Willis was 3 for 3 including a solo homer and a grand slam; and 6 RBIs. Texas Longhorns still doing well in the pros.

Cat struck out 2 more in the fourth.

She pitched well tonight, but defense was shaky and no runs when runners were in scoring position. Ah well. Someone's got to lose, just don't like it when it is us.

Came in relief in the 5th tonight (Sat). Was not expecting that.

Thanks for the update. Unfortunately, I didn't check back in time to see her in relief. How did she do?

She got the W. They were down 5-2 and won 7-5. Fortunately Lawrie was able to take care of business today for another W.
