Casis Elementary

We are looking at a house that is zoned for Casis Elem, O'Henry Middle and Austin High. Can anyone give me their opinion on these schools in relation to districts like Eanes, Lake Travis, and Round Rock? We've heard that AISD is okay, but that these specific schools are very good. True? Thanks.

Schools are good. They do bus a bit from east austin over to tarrytown schools.

Casis is in the top 3 or 4 elementary schools in Central Texas. O'Henry, not sure about. Austin High is near, if not the, top HS in AISD.

Compared to Eanes and LTISD, they can all compete, are all good schools. Eanes Elementary = Casis Elementary, but when you get to MS and HS, Eanes and LT are a notch above. RR is fine, but it's RR.

If Austin High is good enough for the President's kids, I guess it's OK. I hope so, because that's where my kids are going.

As long as the schools are in the ballpark, I'll be satisfied. I expect the effort of the child will be a huge factor in the actual level of education received. I had heard Casis was good but unsure on the others. We like the Eanes schools but my wife's experience subbing there a few years back left a sour taste.

I know people who have been very happy with Casis but those same people have been extremely unhappy with O'Henry. I don't really recall why they were unhappy with O'Henry but if I talk to any of the parents, I'll see if I can find out.
